My name is Chelsea, and I was born in a small town just outside of Edmonton Alberta. In 2009 I graduated from high school and took two years off to work and travel. In that time, I learned what my passions were and what I wanted to explore in university. In 2011 I attended Grant MacEwan University to begin my post-secondary adventure and then transferred to University of Alberta in 2013. I finally graduated from the U of A in spring 2016 with a major in Native Studies and minor in Psychology. I am now pursuing a Masters in the department of Resource Economics and Environmental Sociology at the U of A where I will be exploring climate change and its impact on traditional ecological knowledge on First Nation communities in the North West Territories. I am beyond excited to be working on the tracking change project and to have the opportunity to apply some of my undergraduate knowledge as well as contribute to an Aboriginal community along the way.
